for 232 mil, Sime Darby Engineering is finally merging with Ramunia Holdings.
yey! hip hip hooray!

more workload for me of course, but it's good to know that we're now under one roof.

and, it's the appraisal time again.
Maklum la suda masuk bulan June ineh.
This is the first time that I had to do appraisal for my subordinates.
Last year I don't have to since the Finance staff under me are all contract-based but this time around I'm in HR and I have to do it since most of my subordinates are all permanent staff.

Kesimpulannya, mau menilaikan orang yang lunch dengan kita setiap hari memang agak mencabar oke.

But it's good that I can express everything, every tiny little thing, directly to their face.

Macam satu kepuasanlah.

uh oh, wicked me.

And when we argue about the ratings, the feeling is like, teringatlah zaman dulu-dulu waktu first time mau dirating oleh cik puan bos.

I used to have lots of free time.
bukanlah terlalu banyak tapi sentiasa ada masa untuk yang itu.

I used to read a lot but now I don't seem to have the time anymore.
Novel The Kite Runner yang beli tahun lepas tu pun tak sentuh lagi okeh!

Petang-petang, pusing-pusing sana-sini.
or weekends meredah jalan-jalan yang tak pernah lalu.
celah-celah kampung sana-sini.

Sekarang pun jalan-jalan juger, lebih dasat dan lebih jauh dari dulu.

tapi, ntah.
Memang la excited juger tapi tak terover excited macam waktu dulu.

zaman-zaman muda belia dahulu.

The feeling is like, you really really likes Barbie when you were young and berazam bila dah besar nanti, dah banyak duit, konon-kononnya mau beli sedozenlah benda itu.

Tapi sekarang bila dah besar, dah ada duit, tak teringin lansung dah pun.

macam satu peralihan zaman.

Trip to Punggai

yep. Punggai.
We went there last Saturday.
120 km from JB, 10 km from Tg Balau, and about 5 km from Teluk Ramunia.
Nampak macam jauh tapi tak rasa jauh pun sebab jalan dia lurus jek.

It is a little known place located between Desaru and Teluk Ramunia.
Follow the signboard and you’ll notice Punggai after Bandar Penawar sign.

Bertolak dari PG pukul 10 pagi, singgah shopping kat Tesco, and dalam pukul 12 tghari tu terus bertolak ke sana.

Dari Pelentong, belok ke Tebrau, terus ke Ulu Tiram, Kota Tinggi, semuanya jem. Tak pernahlah tak jem tiap kali lalu di jalan JB - Kota Tinggi nih.
Especially time cuti-cuti begini.

Dah lepas KT, and nak masuk simpang ke Ramunia/Sg Rengit/Pengerang, barulah jalan beransur lengang.

From Kota Tinggi to TR, dalam mukim Johor Lama, kawasannya adalah felda, gugusan beberapa felda. Air Tawar 5, Lok Heng, Adela, Sening, etc etc...

The ride took about 2 hours (or so), dengan jalan yang lurus dan cantik, oil palm estate di kiri dan kanan, and dalam pukul 2.30 petang kami sampai di sana.




I never expected Punggai to have such a beautiful beach.
Since it was located just a few miles from Desaru, I thought the place would be more or less the same.

But gosh... we should reach here early!
I ran towards the soft silky sand and man... it was a perfect place to be.
The aquamarine seawater, the sweet smell of salty wind and the sky was gorgeous blue...




The chalet was quite cheap. The Sea View Resort and they charged about RM160.00 per night. 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds and 2 bathrooms. Complete with aircond, cooking utensils, tv, sofa, 2 dining tables, a nice swimming pool and all. They even gave us extra mattresses and pillows with no extra charges ^ ^

Sangat puas hatilah.

Kami tak makan di luar pun.
Hanya memasak di chalet.
Since I didn't bring my sunblock and konon-kononnya takut hitam legam, pukul 6 ptg la baru start mandi laut sampai la 7.30 malam.
And there's only us and two other families on the beach.
Kalau org tak paksa aku naik memang sampai malam la aku berendam kat situ.

And whoaa... the magnificent sunset...

Banglo Dato' Azalina pun ada kat situ.
Mengadap laut.
*sigh*
Memang sangat jeles la dengan orang yang berumah di tepi pantai nih.

The next day, dalam pukul 1 tengahari kami pun bertolak pulang...

Tatau la orang lain tapi pada aku, memang sangat berbaloilah ke sini.
Everything was totally beautiful.
The breathtaking scenery.
Even the road.

Lalu kat jalan Punggai tu, macam lalu kat tengah bendang, dengan angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa.

Dengan penat-penat tu aku terus ke JJ Tebrau sebab ada appointment dengan my agent. Tengah dok berdiskusi, tiba-tiba one of my colleague datang.
Rupa-rupanya he bought a house with the same agent.
haha... keciknya dunia.

'kisah ke Sabah aritu tak abis lagi, kami sudah berjalan-jalan pun ke tempat lain.

Trip to Miri

Ini pula adalah cerita tentang Miri.
Dah agak lapuk pun sebab asyik tak sempat je la aku nak nulis kat sini.

Anyway we went there last Dec.
Mak, Abah, aku and my little brother, Aish.
8 days 7 nights.
3rd until 10th of Dec to be exact.
My other brother, Boy tak ikut sebab dia baru grad and baru start keje time tu so takkan nak cuti lama-lama, kan.

Patutnya flight ke Miri pukul 1.30 tengahari tapi delay.
Last-last pukul 4 lebih la baru bertolak dari Senai.
Kalau aku tau baik cuti half day je aritu.

Pertama kalilah jejak kaki di bumi Sarawak ineh.
Konon-kononnya mau melawat tempat Angah.
My sis works at Bintulu. Nasib la. Orang Petronas kat ceruk mana-mana je la dia anto.

Anyway, sampai kat airport Miri dalam pukul 6 gitu dah macam pukul 8 malam.
Patut la slalu kalau aku call Angah time-time kul 9 lebih tu dia dah tido.

Sampai-sampai sana, Angah takde lagi.
Patutnya mesti la tuan rumah yang nunggu tetamu kan.
Ni terbalik plak.
Half an hour later baru dia sampai dgn Lan, her fiancee.
Lan works at Miri, and time kitorang sampai tu dia baru balik keje, that's why la lambat sikit.




We stay for the night at this 2-rooms apartment at Imperial Hotel.
Agak best la sebab bawah tu adalah shopping complex.
Tempat makan pun senang nak cari sebab Lan memang keje situ so dia bawak kami ke tempat yang dia selalu pegi.
Makanan semenanjung.
And the brekfes kat restoran ujung tu pun sedap jugak.
Nasi lemak ayam golek.
nyam nyam.

Angah said tiap kali dia datang Miri mesti makan nasi lemak kat situ.
And memang tiap minggu pun dia turun Miri.
Kalau aku tak sanggup duhh...
250km tuu Miri - Bintulu.
Kejung aku dok dalam kete.

I have a few frens staying at Miri tapi takde pulak contact number. Kalau tak boleh jugak tanya-tanya mana tempat best kat sini, kan.




The first thing that we noticed about Miri is that, they lacked of signboard. Maksud aku, kalau kat Semenanjung kan banyak je signboard tulis berapa km dari sana ke sini.

Kat sini cam lansung takdelah.
Agak pelik.
Lalu kat highway macam jalan yang takde penghujung.
hem hem.

The next day we went to Miri town.
My sis shows us a few souvenir shops yang jual barang dgn harga yang agak murah and we plan to buy things on our next trip to Miri sebab petang tu kami dah nak ke Kota Kinabalu so takkan nak angkut barang banyak-banyak ke sana kan.

Then we went to Petroleum Science Museum which is situated on top of Canada Hill. Quite interesting la sebab both of us work in oil and gas company so bila nampak platforms fabricated by my company memang buat aku kagum la ^-^




Kat depan muzium tu ada monumen the Grand Old Lady.
It is the first oil well in Malaysia and it represents the petroleum history of Miri which is almost a century old. This oil well is no longer production and it has been declared a protected historical site by the Sarawak Government.

Kat belakang tu pulak ada observatory platform where visitors can have an excellent view of Miri city. People came to enjoy the scenery or jog on the well-designed path.

yep.

Pemandangan kat atas tu memang sangat bestlah.
Tapi memandangkan kami pergi waktu tengahari buta takde payung, tak sempat la nak menikmati sangat pemandangan kat situ.
hem hem.

Around 1pm, kami pulang ke hotel and bersiap-siap untuk ke airport.
Our flight to Kota Kinabalu will be at 3pm.

Trip to Cameron Highland

Ini adalah cerita Cameron Highland.
haih. sangat lamalah tak menulis neh.

So, this is my first Family Day trip with my HR colleagues.
Last year they went to Melaka.
Aku tak ikut pun sebab time tu masih di Finance lagi.

Cadang-cadangnya mau bertolak dari sini pukul 12 malam hari Jumaat tu.
Kelam-kabut la semua orang mau pulang on time hari tu tapi tup-tup tengok, dekat 1.30 pagi la baru bertolak dari sini.

haih~




This is our transport for the day.
Kali terakhir naik bas adalah waktu belajar di MMU dulu.
Beberapa tahun yang lalu.
Bas Jebat.
JB - Mlk RM12.50 sajer.
Zaman student.
*tiba-tiba mengimbau kenangan zaman dulu-dulu. hiks.

ehem berbalik kepada cerita tadi.
Since this is our Family Day's trip, jadi most of us memang membawa family lah.
I didn't bring mine along coz my sis is coming home from Bintulu.
But of course I'm not alone.
I bought a fren together.

Dalam pukul 6.30 pagi, sampai di Rawang.
Solat, mandi, brekfes and terus naik ke atas.
Duduk dalam bas beraircond kuat buat aku jadi beku.
Fortunately sebelum pergi tu my dear hosmet beria-ia la nyuruh aku minjam her gloves and her sneakers.

Kalau tak memang aku makai heels je la ke sana.
I've never had any sneakers in my entire life.
The only shoes that I've ever had is my running shoes.
haish.
harus membeli sneakers lah selepas ineh.
lebih prektikel dan selesa~~

hem hem.

My sis told us to use the Simpang Pulai road sebab lagi eloklah.
But since the driver prefers the Tapah road, jadi kami pun ngikut sajalah.
But, whoaa~ memang jalan the most teruklah.

Sepanjang hidup yang suka berjalan ineh, tak pernahlah lagi datang rasa mau muntah. Tapi nape ntah kali ini memang betul-betul menguji perasaan.
Pening pale aku.
Kalo ikutkan memang nak muntah ngan dasat tapi tahan la jugak.
Padahal before this ada banyak jalan lain yang lebih bersimpang-siur tapi nape ntah jalan ke sini aku rasa cam teruk sangat berbelit-belitnya.

Around 11 am sampai di Bharat Tea.
Duduk-duduk, ngambil gambar sana-sini and 12 pm kami bertolak ke Tanah Rata.
Lunch di sana and around 2 pm kami check-in.
The apartments are quite nice.
I shared mine with Airin, my fren and Kak Liza's family.
3-rooms apartment plus Astro.
RM220.00 per night.

Sejuk la sesangat sebab time kami pergi tu musim hujan.
Sampaikan time bercakap tu boleh keluar kabus dari mulut ha.
Ala-ala kat Korea gitu.
Boleh jakun plak sekejap.
Then, duduk-duduk, tido-tido, pukul 8 mlm bertolak ke pasar malam di Brinchang.
The night market cuma 2 kali sajer seminggu.
Malam Sabtu dan malam Ahad.
And pagi Ahad ada pasar tani yang best.
Sayur-sayur yang jual kat situ memang fresh lah.




The chocolate strawberry yang jual kat pasar malam tu memang d most sedaps lah! So unlike yang biasa aku makan kat sini. Tapi tak sempat ambil gambar pun sebab sangat kusyuk la makan. But the price is quite expensive.

3 cucuk RM5.00.
Cuma ada 3 biji je satu cucuk. Kalau kat strawberry park tu dia jual RM5.00 jugak tapi ada 4/5 biji la satu cucuk. Tapi pada aku, yang beli kat pasar malam tu lagi best la sebab sangat sedaps. hiks~

Actually this is the second time of me going to Cameron.
Waktu kali pertama dulu tak berapa ingat sangat sebab masih kecik lagi.

The next day we went to Boh Tea Garden.
The place is quite big.
Lebih besar la dari Bharat Tea tu.
They provide bus to go in there.
RM3.00 per person.
Leceh kalau naik kereta sebab jalan dia kecik and time cuti memang sangat ramai la orang ke sana. Siap trafik jam lagi ha kat dalam tu.

Kat main road Cameron tu pun jalan jem.
Macam tak percayalah situ bole jem.
Ingatkan keluar dari P. Gudang bole la elak dari jem kejap.
haih.

Then we went to Bee Farm. Takde apapun kat sana.

After that we had our lunch at SK Convent.
Ada cafe kat dalam tu.
The school is very nice.
Sangat bersih and banyak bunga pelik-pelik diorang tanam kat situ.

Then, up and away to Cactus and Strawberry Farm.
I bought 3 large packet of Coral Salad for my dear Ciki.
RM5.00 sajer tau.
Very the murah.
Kalau kat JJ tu mau lebih 20 ringgit tu.

And the sundae at Strawberry Farm is super-duper delicious!
nyam nyam!

Time kat pasar malam tu dah beli strawberry.
Murah.
RM10.00 untuk 2 kotak besar tapi tak tahan lama la.
Yang second time I bought at Cactus Farm.
RM10.00 for 3 medium size box.
And the third time I bought at Strawberry Farm.
Situ kita boleh petik sendiri and time tgh petik tu bole la terus masuk mulut.

Among the three places, aku rasa beli kat Cactus Farm tu paling berbaloi sebab the price is quite cheap and walaupun dah bawak balik Jhr, letak dlm fridge 2 hari pun still sedap lagi. Tapi still masam la as usual.

Then we went back to the apartment.
Our water heater dah rosak so terpaksa la masak air untuk mandi.
Kalau tak, haih~ mau kejung la kat situ.

That night we had our Family Day's event.
BBQ and HR Gathering nite.
Kat sekolah yang sama.
Aku tak ikut pun sebab penat and macam malas.
So duduk-duduk makan megi di rumah sajer.

The next day, pukul 8 pagi kami bertolak pulang.
Going down the same road.
Dengan keadaan jalan yang camtu of cos la ramai yang muntah kan.
Nasib baik la aku bawak stok jeruk banyak nih.

Then around 7 pm kami selamat sampai di P. Gudang...
Nearly 12 hours duduk dalam bas tuh.
Gile ah ding dong.

Sampai-sampai jek kami terus balik ke Ptn sebab nak amik kereta aku kat sana.
My sis borrowed it for a few days sebab dia balik kampung with her fiancee time tu.

The next day aku cuti.
Pagi tu patutnya harus ngantarin dia ke airport tapi d most tak larat so my parents la yang terpaksa hantar.
And petang dalam pukul 4 aku pun balik ke P. Gudang...

maybe petang baru sampai from KL.

oh ye, sampai kat Ptn nanti, ngambil my mum and we'll be heading to Ayer Hitam to buy things. as usual, he'll be the driver for the day ^-^

next week, my office will be conducting a bowling tournament.
and dia telah mempelawa diri sendiri utk ikut sekali.

and next month we'll be having a 3-days company's annual trip to Cameron Highland. *or is it in March? i'm not sure.

sangat nyampah la dengan veterinar di Permas ittew.
aku bawa Ciki ke sana sebab kaki, ekor dan matanya dijagkiti fungus ke ring ntah. sebab tuannya selalu sibuk, tak nyempat pun mau jemur Ciki setiap minggu.

patut, kalo tatau cek binatang eksotik macam tu, jangan la buat2 tau.
ni, ada plak Ciki nak dienjek bagai.
padahal dulu waktu aku masih di Mlk, his previous doctor takat bagi antibiotik ngan krim sapu kaler putih pun Ciki dah bole baik macam biasa.

ni dah la tatau dia sakit apa, pastu ntah hape2 la dia buat, sibuk nak cungkil daging kat ekor Ciki, pastu bagi krim sapu kaler ijau. meradang la menatang tu. abih tangan aku semua kena cakar.

pastu aku rasa tu encik hanjing punya fungus cream yg dia bagi tu.
takut aku nak sapu pada Ciki.
antibiotik dia pun pelik semacam.
30 inggit plak tu dia charge.

haih. sangat nyesal lah ke klinik tuh.

moral of the story, kalo nak gi cek binatang eksotik, kena tanya kat dokter tu before ni dia penah handle binatang camni ke tak. kalo tak penah, jangan la sesekali nak hantar sana. buang karen, buang masa, buang duit, binatang ko pun nanti ntah ke mana.

Aku of course la sangat suka sebab dulu kan Mlk telah menjadi tempat tercinta.

Raya pun dah nak habis.

Lots of things happened in the past 20 days.
Tapi tatau pun mau cerita dari mana.
Selalu tengah naip-naip di opis, terfikir mau cerita itu, cerita ini.
Tapi bila sampai lewat-lewat di rumah, bizi-bizi buat itu ini, apepun la tamau keluar dari otak.

Oh ye. Kereta nyomel aku telah selamat tercalar.
Bukan salah orang lain pun.
Aku yang balik dari kerja, sibuk-sibuk mau ke Tesco.
Konon-konon mau release tensen dengan bershopping.
Bila masuk ke tempat parking, dah tau sempit pun mau nyelit jugak.
Bila cuba-cuba pun tak boleh, kuar balik, srreeetttt calar kat bahagian pintu driver.
Kalau calar sedikit takpe, bole dipolish.
Ini siap kemek la bagai.

Tak terkilan pun.
Sebab tau salah aku.
Kot kalo orang lain yg buat, mau 2, 3 bulan aku bersedeh ati nih.

Actually it's my 2nd mth now.
Tak nyempat pun mau cerita panjang lebar di sini.

Dulu aku rasa Finance sangat sakit jiwa.
Then, bila suda di HR, and handle the same payroll, aku rasa Finance seploh kali lebih bes.

Then, bila suda di C & B, aku rasa bila jenguk2 balik keje2 masa lalu, rasa haih... nape la aku tak keje terus kat Finance je kan.
Mesti hidup lebih terurus selesa dari sekarang, kan.

hiks. biase la. kan blog tempat untuk komplen itu ini kan.

Aku tak suka kat section ni sebab keje sangat banyak.
And lebih banyak kena berurusan dengan pekerja.
Tiap2 hari kena cakap banyak2, kena brief orang pasal itu ini.
Penat tau.
Kadang2 balik rumah suara aku dah jadi cam serak.

I'm still handling the payroll.
plus the taxes.
and the insurance.
and the portal thing - claims, annual leave, medical, etc etc.
the SOCSO, confirmation, accidents, loans, cars, etc etc.

Lots of new things to learn.

Tapi aku lebih hepi.
I've got 2 additional staff, Ida and Fia.
Tatau pun how they do it but they truly makes my life happier.
They're very dedicated to work but at the same time tak penah tunjukkan yg diorang tgh stress. They laugh and joke all d time. Cam tadek masalah pun.

Memang sangat bes lah.





I bought this novels last month.
Waktu zaman muda2 dulu, I read at least 2 books per week.
Dan ini, setelah 4 minggu buku tu terperap dalam almari, aku cuma baru baca muka yg ke-5.

uh~ where have all the old me gone?

Dan oh ye, Selamat Berpuasa and Selamat Hari Raya untuk semua.
suda puasa yg ke-25 baru nyempat untuk ngucapkan selamat untuk semua.

haih.

Anyway, I'm going somewhere this Saturday *wink*
yey! really2 looking forward to it ^-^

And I'm going back to my hometown this Sunday.
Most probably we're going to have a KL Hari Raya this year.
Then baru balik kg kat Sabak Bernam.

Actually bukan mau promote tapi just nak share ngan u all tentang this skincare product.

Then after a few months, dia balik ke sini, and the changes on her face was quite unbelievable! Lebih berseri-seri dari dulu and bekas jerawat pun takde!

And she only used that Nutricentials Face Care - the cleasing gel, mattefying toner and the restore day lotion.

On d spot gak aku bercadang nak beli benda tu.

Semalam aku balik kampung.
To attend 3 weddings - Oteh + hubby's, Faisal + Norlin's, and Suhaila + hubby's.
Tak plan pun nak balik this weekend actually.
Sebab Saturday morning mau servis kereta.
Dan malamnya mau nonton that semi-final.
So, kalau balik sehari sajer memang d most penat la 'kan.

Tapi pagi-pagi Ahad tu, aku suda pun bangun.
Sangat letih tapi tiba-tiba rasa mau balik sekejap.
Sebab tiga-tiga itu adalah wedding kawan masa skolah menengah dulu.
So, sebab aku suda duduk di Jhr skarang, jadi tak patut la kalo tak datang, kan.

Around 9.30 am, keluar rumah.
Singgah Tesco kejap to buy their wedding present, tup-tup belek itu ini tiba-tida suda dekat pukul 11.

Then, drive straight to Ptn...

Pukul 12 sampai rumah, Art udah call sebab dia suda on d way ke rumah aku.
Art is my ex-klasmet juger time blajar dulu.
Now a teacher working at my former school.

Dia sampai, nolong bungkus d presents, and aku pun siap-siap.
Pukul 1.30 gerak ke rumah Oteh.
She's a teacher working at Sarawak now.
Cantik makai hijau sedondon.
Masa kecil-kecil dahulu, dia selalu cakap, cita-cita bila dewasa, mau jadi suri rumah yang punya Master.

And suda tercapai pun...
Except that she's actually a teacher wif Master.
Bole la tu... cikgu pun ngajar half-day 'kan.

Then, on d way balik terserempak dengan Fadh and CT.
Fadh juga seorang guru.
Her ambition dulu is to become an accountant.
'coz she's very2 good wif numbers.

And CT, she's an Account Exec in JB.
Sangat cantek lawa sekarang.

Tapi btul la.
Ada orang makin tua dewasa, mmg makin lawa.

Then, we went to Faisal's wedding.
Also a teacher.
His wife pun our ex-skoolmate dulu.
Tak sangka, bila udah dewasa gini, masih kekal dengan pasangan time skolah dulu.
They got purple for the wedding.

Then, to Suhaila's.
Sangat2 jauh ke dalam rumahnya.
Jalan yg tak berapa elok, and banyak lubang.
Habis tayar kete aku.

Pukul 4 lebih baru sampai sana.
Brownish colored wedding.
Baju yg lawa, pelamin yg lawa, serba-serbi yg sangat lawa...
Gambar takde kat sini.
Semua dalam kamera aku.
Mana ntah letak.
Malas nak carik sebab penat.

Anyway, dia baru habis belajar.
Architecture kalau tak silap.
And menetap di KL skarang.

Pukul 6 sampai rumah.. sangat letih yang dasat.
Baru nak baring-baring, my bro suda nyuruh install d streamyx.
Bangun balik, setelkan semua, tiba-tiba tengok jam udah pukul 7.45 mlm...
uwaa bila aku nak balik nih?

Then mandi, siap-siap, tak makan pun sebab tadi udah kenyang mkn lauk kenduri.
Pukul 8.45 start enjin and drive off to PG.
Tengah jalan, tiba-tiba terfikir, haihhh tadi kan aku kuarkan ID card letak atas meja lupa nak amik...

Then, call my mum.

haa kan btul tertinggal.
Harus la patah balik, kan.
Sebab kalau takde card tu kena la buat biometric card yg baru.
Daripada buang duit baik aku patah balik.

Sampai rumah, mak suda siap-siap kumpulkan semua brg yg aku tertinggal.
Ya, termasuklah my handbag.
